Travel the ledgendary "Oodnadatta, Birdsville" and "Strezleki" tracks three legendary stock routes in one trip. Experience some of the most remote places in Australia.

Take a boat trip on the mighty Cooper creek one of the last unrestrained river systems in the world. Visit "Burke and Wills" country - see the "dig tree" where these famous explorers buried supply's on their historic journey.

Experience the harsh conditions the drovers of huge herds of cattle met, when the "Strezleki" track was pioneered in 1871 by "Captain Starlight" a notorious cattle "duffer" (thief) who drove a large herd of stolen cattle from Queensland to Adelaide through some of the harshest terrain in the world.

Travel through three deserts the Tirara, Strezleki and Sturts stony desert.

Day 1 Depart Adelaide 7.00 am. Travel direct to William Creek via Pt Augusta, and Roxby Downs. Overnight Hotel or Cabins, evening meal at William Creek Hotel, optional scenic flight over Lake Eyre available. (See the Wrights Air Site for details, Must be booked before departure) First day must be early start but remaining days are at a more relaxed pace.

Day 2 Travel down the Track to Marree visiting interesting old Ghan Railway ,Overland Telegraph sites and Mound Springs. Overnight stay at the Marree Hotel or Cabins.

Day 3 Head North up the Birdsville Track, stopping off at points of interest along the way. Lunch break at Mungerannie Water Hole, bird watching or taking a dip in the warm water. Overnight at Birdsville.

Day 4 Spend the day visiting BIG RED, a huge sand hill in the SIMPSON DESERT and the Birdsville Working Museum. Overnight at Birdsville.

Day 5 Travel to Innaminka via the historic Cordillo Downs Woolshed and the DIG TREE . Overnight at Innaminka.

Day 6 Visit the World Heritage Listed Wetlands COONGIE LAKE, should be a multitude of birdlife after the recent floods. Take the evening COOPER CREEK Cruise to Kings Marker. Overnight at Innaminka.

Day 7 Head down the Strezlecki Track to Leigh Creek Outback Resort. Lunch at Montacolinna Bore in the Cobbler Desert, a real oasis in a desert area.

Day 8 Travel through the FLINDERS RANGES and Clare Valley to Adelaide.
