Day 1: Depart Adelaide on 11.00am Stateliner Coach for Pt. Pirie arriving 1.55 pm to be met by Leisuretime Travel. After lunch travel to Melrose via a 4WD track over the Flinders Ranges. Stay overnight at Bluey Blundstones Blacksmiths Shop and heritage Bed & Breakfast (subject to availablility). |
| Day 2: Travel to Stirling North to join the Pitchi Richi Railway Original Gahn Steam Train, stopping off at Alligator Gorge in the Mt. Remarkable National Park on the way. After the train trip we travel north to Hawker following the old railway for our overnight stay. |
| Day 3: Continue north up the rail corridor visiting interesting railway sites along the way, including Parachilna, Beltana, Farina and the Ochre Cliffs at Lyndhurst. Stay overnight in the “Marree Rest House” the accommodation used by the crews of the original Gahn. |
| Day 4: Today we travel up the famous Oodnadatta Track, see Lake Eyre South stop off at Curdimurka, the Mound Springs a real oasis in the desert, Coward Springs, Strangways and the William Creek Hotel for our overnight stay. A late afternoon flight over Lake Eyre North is available but must be booked when tour is booked (extra cost of approx $120.00) see the Wrights Air Site for details . |

| Day 5: Continue up the “Track to Oodnadatta stopping at the giant bridge at Algibuckna over the Neales River. After Oodnadatta we head west to the Painted Desert - spectacular area of Breakaway country then south to Coober Pedy for underground accomodation overnight. |
| Day 6,7: Travel South down the bitumen highway to Pt. Augusta, calling at Woomera the once secret rocket launching town. Overnight stay in Pt. Augusta then Travel to Adelaide on Stateliner service on Day 7 |

Alternative Day 6,7: stay at Bluey’s Blundstones Bed & Breakfast (in Melrose) Day 7 Travel to Adelaide with Leisuretime Travel including short off road tour to a historic shepherds hut circa 1850 in the Southern Flinders Ranges only accessed by 4WD. Continue south through the renowned Clare Valley wine growing region to Adelaide. |
